Back in Poland for a day. The reclaimed garden looks a little abandoned — one month without any attention other than harvesting some greens and watering. We won’t be seeing this place again for two months so we pick peas, and as many greens as we can eat in one day, plus a few for the trip back to the States. Kasper is in the corner looking for Wild Strawberries. There aren’t many, but they’re good.

The greens are thriving — so is the grass. Here are Golden and Red Chards, Lancinato Kale, Mustard Greens–you can’t buy any of these greens in Poland.

Nasturtiums seems to love the neglect. More kales — CW from Middle Left: Lancinato , Ribor, Red, Ribor again. Funny that the Siberan Kale I planted didn’t like here.
